First a few details about my trip. I left from Chicago on Friday, February 26, 1999 on United Airlines. The weather was kind of cold here in Chicago, so I was looking forward to getting to Hawaii.

My flight was pleasant. I had seat 1F, the bulk head window seat. I was hoping that I would get to sit next to some really gorgeous model on her way to Hawaii for a shoot. But as my luck would have it, it was not to be this time. Oh well.

I wasn't ready for the nice weather. As soon as I got in my rental car, I changed into my shorts and t-shirt. I wanted a Nissan Maxima or something a little sporty, yet big enough for 3 people. What I ended up getting was a Mercury Grand Marquis. It was so big, I didn't need a hotel room because I could have slept in that car!

I left the airport and went directly to Waikiki. I found the building where I was staying. It wasn't as difficult as I had imagined. It is an apartment complex on Nahua, about 2 blocks away from the beach. When I pulled into a parking spot a nice blonde in a short skirt walked right past me and I was in heaven...
